This terraced house with many rooms and labyrinthine space lacked space and light. It was completed by an external annex, hitherto serving as a large storage room. The attic was not in operation and the ceiling heights were relatively low.
We renovated the 1st and 2nd floor with key words: space and brightness! It was essential to open the whole structure. To do this, we made the connection between the house and the annex thanks to a flat glass roof, bringing even more light. To this end, we have also added velux to the attachments.
The founding and original element of this project is the staircase-library: it is around him that the whole project was built. This one plays the role of transition between the relaxation corners and the office-telework corner.
The space being enlarged, we gave it life in a spirit of zeal. All the spaces exude tranquility, relaxation, the «cocooning» atmosphere: the vegetable paper in the entrance, the open fire in the living room, the lounge armchairs Togo, the white tones, khaki and powdered pink, wood.
For one of the rooms, we stayed in rather soft blue tones, while the other guest room is a little more slick, with its velvet and dark wallpaper.
